T'was the Day Before Christmas.......!

The shop opens early today in readiness for last minute customers wishing to pick up bouquets all made and ready to go! After a busy morning, we set the time to close at 2pm, at at 3pm we deliver our last bouquet! As we stand at the door with Caroline ready to load the car with our own flower gifts, the telephone rings. Without hesitation I pick up the call, a lady in Scotland who is franticly trying to find a florist to deliver a bouquet to her family in Toll Bar today - 'a long shot I know' she says. I just couldn't ignore the desperation in her voice, and took the order, promising delivery within the hour. I tell my husband to drop off our last member of staff who has already worked past her time, whilst I prepare the bouquet to deliver to the recipient before we go home for Christmas eve. To know the lady could settle now knowing her bouquet was to be delivered was worth staying for - I just love to please people. Merry Christmas!
